Adidas has been changing the street fashion name, and 2016 has marked as one of the most innovative and most successful years for the brand. 2016 marked the year of innovated technology with the popular Adidas cushioning called Boost. Recently, Adidas partnered with Parley For The Oceans for an Ultra Boost styled shoe where the uppers are made from recycled plastic bottles that have been recovered from the oceans. The Ultra Boost is said to be made by 95% Parley Ocean plastic & 5% recycled polyester.
Limited models of this eye-catching and efficient shoe were released this past year in limited quantities, and recently were announced for a worldwide release in 2017. In addition to the shoe itself, Adidas has shown a prototype for an out-of-this-world design of a 3D printed sole created from recycled polyester and gill nets. Their innovative upcoming releases have without a doubt sky-rocketed the shoe industry. Continuing their reign of 2016 with their incredibly hyped up Boost technology, Adidas looks to continue to steps into changing the fashion industry.
