Sand Cloud is all about giving back. They have one mission, and they will not stop until that mission is complete: #SaveTheFishies.
This online organization is extremely passionate about saving marine life and the oceans that they live in. The Sand Cloud Company sells many different types of items such as t-shirts, water bottles, towels, and so much more! The best part? Ten percent of the profits are donated to non-profits that have the same mission. The organizations that they support include the Marine Conservation Institute, Surfrider Foundation, Pacific Marine Mammal Center, San Diego Coastkeeper, and the Hawaii Wildlife Fund.
How did this brand and project start? Co-founders Bruno Aschidamini and Steven Ford have been living in San Diego, California, their entire lives. The ocean has always been close to their hearts, and they grew to love everything about it. Since they both have had wonderful experiences and memories with the ocean, they decided it would be a good idea to give back to it.
Our planet is beautiful and essential. The water that can be found in our oceans makes up about 97% of Earth’s water. The message that Sand Cloud is sending can be used to spread awareness that we are harming the environment and the wildlife living in it. Want to learn more?
