One Turtleneck, 5 Thanksgiving Outfits!

We know Thanksgiving is a holiday for family, friends, food, and being grateful, but that doesn’t mean you can’t sneak in a bit of fashion. I love thrifting and finding recycled clothes that I can personalize and style. I used the same simple, white turtleneck I purchased from Goodwill to create several new creative outfits! This year more than ever I find myself putting together outfits when I go to an appointment, or the grocery store, or sometimes even just for zoom meetings because I find myself desperate to get out of my pajamas. I spiced things up this Thanksgiving and used it as an excuse to dress up since all our plans have been Covid-canceled.

Turtleneck - but make it fashion. Here are five stylish outfits to create with the same turtleneck, that are perfect to wear for the holidays.

Outfit #1:

Turtleneck paired with a Forever21 checkered suspender skirt I thrifted from Plato’s Closet. Make the turtleneck dressy and be ready to show off your fashion sense.

Outfit #2:

Turtleneck paired with a patterned scarf thrifted from Plato’s Closet and the skirt is purchased from Versona in Cranberry. This Is my personal favorite outfit for the Thanksgiving holiday! The colors scream fall and create a special and creative pairing. (Plus, scarves are sooo comfortable and you can wear them in many different ways)

Outfit #3:

Turtleneck paired with black flare jumpsuit/overalls from Forever 21. Simple black and white color pairing but make a great combination perfect for any color accessories you’d like to add!

Outfit #4:

Another outfit consisting of black and white, great colors for this awkward change in season! These black and white patterned slacks are thrifted from Plato’s Closet and pair greatly with the simple turtleneck.

Outfit#5:

I paired the plain white turtleneck with these comfy, colored pants from Versona. (While stuffing your face with turkey and mashed potatoes… stretchy pants for the win!) The purse, thrifted from Salvation Army, pull the color scheme together and match the leopard pattern bucket hat bought from Target. This is the outfit full of accessories!
