As I near my third finals week as a college student I can firmly say that I’ve noticed a few trends when it comes to students and their go-to fashion trends for the most dreaded week of the semester. I, for one, can say that I have noticed a decline in my willingness to dress presentable for that last week of classes before finals week. Here are some of the other fashion trends I’ve noticed as we gear up for this semester’s finals week.
Accessories:
I’ve mainly seen a big trend in the accessories people wear during finals week. The biggest one being coffee and energy drinks. I myself choose to accessorize with a Venti Iced Caramel Macchiato to make sure that I have enough energy to get through my late-night study sessions.
Main Outfit:
Whether it’s sweatpants or leggings or t-shirt or sweatshirt, I see nothing but comfy options around campus during finals week. Some people even opt to just roll out of bed and head to their exams in their pajamas. I myself like the leggings, t-shirt, and Crocs look.
Hair:
There is no doubt that my hair is the least of my worries during finals week. Either it’s a messy bun or braids, nothing else. On the rare occasion that I would somewhat care about my appearance, I’ll just throw on my favorite baseball cap.
With that being said, you don’t have to worry about showing up to your final exams in the latest Gucci release. Instead, get some rest, drink your coffee, and study your heart out.
