Over the past year, I have needlessly been incorporating faux leather in my outfits. I love the contrast between an edgy, masculine texture paired with more feminine pieces. It can also be a very simple way to spice up an outfit you already have.
Below are 5 different faux leather items that can become staple items in your winter wardrobe. These suggestions could also be great holiday gift ideas for yourself or for someone else!
01. Blazer
Adding a leather blazer to my wardrobe recently was such a worthwhile idea. I love to pair it with a simple white t-shirt or a graphic tee and a nice pair of jeans. Personally, I love the sleekness of a blazer over a more traditional leather jacket, which can sometimes feel a bit bulky. This one from Zara is a great option!
02. Faux Leather Bag
Whether you’d prefer a large tote, an over-the-shoulder, or a small clutch, the options for leather bags are endless. I have this ruched leather purse that I use everyday that I found from Gabe’s. Another great shoulder bag is this crocodile grain one from Sinbono. Sinbono is a brand that specializes in high-quality vegan leather handbags.
03. High-Waisted Pants
Fun, unique pants are my new favorite things to shop for and to wear. I got these straight leg leather pants a while back from Express, and I am obsessed. They are perfect to wear whether you are going out, or you can style them to be more professional and understated. I would deem a nice pair of leather pants a staple in anyone’s wardrobe.
04. Shoes
While I have yet to own a classic pair of black faux leather shoes, these two options are high on my list. Ankle boots, like these from DSW, are my favorite things to wear in the fall/winter seasons. I also love these loafer flats that are from Target.
05. Hats
I am a hat fanatic. These baker boy style hats are some of my favorites. I own this one from Amazon in the wine red color, and it’s great to wear with almost any outfit. You could also wear it with any other of the pieces listed above to create a cohesive leather look.
