Jackets

Everyone’s go-to item when the temperature starts to drop is a jacket. It is by far one of the most powerful items when it comes to layering! Thrift stores always have a variety of different textures and colors, offering a variety of choices that can easily fit with your wardrobe. Whether flannel or leather, jackets can really bring an outfit together.

Scarves

Layering scarves is an underestimated asset in the colder months. They have been making a comeback in the last few years, and I feel they will be very popular this fall. Not only do they keep you warm, but they can provide an extra pop of color to your outfits. There are also so many ways you can style them. The possibilities are endless!

Tights

Have you ever planned on wearing a skirt, but found that it was just too chilly outside? Tights can be a total lifesaver! You can find so many different colors and patterns to match whatever you may be wearing. My personal favorite are thermal tights. They have a layer of fabric beneath the tights which can keep you cozy all season long!

Leg Warmers

Whether layering over or under your shoes, leg warmers add extra flair to your fall attire. While they are stylish on their own, they can also add an extra layer of warmth that is essential during the cooler months. My personal way to style them is with boots when I wear a skirt. The leg warmers and thermal tight combo should not be underestimated!
