What is Delight? Delight is a women's ministry here at Slippery Rock. Meetings are on Tuesdays at 6:45 in the SSC third floor. At Delight meetings, we go through a study and break out into Delight date groups. We also have service opportunities and events
My favorite thing about Delight is our groups because we go on delight dates, hence the name, this could be a date to Starbucks to get a coffee or just out to lunch. It's a way to get to know other girls that have the same ambitions and struggles as I do. I have gotten to know other girls and have made many friends. I see girls who were in my old groups and we still wave and say hello when passing each other.
Plus our leaders are amazing and super cool. They make Delight a calming and welcoming atmosphere. They invest in every girl that walks into the room by loving them, praying for them, and getting to know them. If you want to find a place where you feel love and invested come to Delight, you won't regret it.
Delight is one of my favorite things about college. Delight gives me a way to take a break from the crazy college life. It's a fun way to relieve some stress and catch up with friends.
